1.30 pm ‘Moorlands Praise’ sing worship songs and people begin to gather, initially in small numbers, in the Market Place to listen. This involves singers and instrumentalists.
2.20 pm Churches, some with bands and many accompanied by young people’s uniformed organisations parade into the Market Place and Moorlands Praise ends their programme.
2.30 pm Public Worship starts, including hymns/songs and a band and/or music group.
3.00 pm The Church Groups and bands leave the Market Place in procession around the town and the crowd disperses to watch.
